NeverLast

This is Xenos, a horse we purchased in December. He is a 4 year old gelding. He is a Standardbred pacer. He is quite a bit bigger than Neverlast.

This is our newest purchase. NeverLast, a 4 year old mare. She is a Starndardbred Pacer. We will most likely race her this year and next and then start breeding her. We board them both at a farm about 20 miles or so from where we live and then we are able to go out to the the farm and jog them and help out with the other horses. They have about 70 some horses total at the farm. We have a lot of fun. We race them in Canada and then in the fall in Fargo.
These two will occupy a lot of our time this summer.
The women's choir that I sing in is done for the summer. Our concert was yesterday afternoon. It was held at the Catholic church in Bottineau. It was a very good concert. We sang songs from Broadway musicals and other big movies. I had a solo part in a song from Phantom of the Opera, "Wishing You Were Here Again". I had a lot of fun and look forward to choir starting up again in the fall.
It is hospital week this week, and so the week is filled with celebration and other goings on at the hospital where I work. On Wednesday they are having a talent show, so Matt and I will both be singing at that. We are both singing solos and then one song together. Fun times.

Very cool Jen - Jeremy and I will have to make a trek out to ND and use you two just to ride your horses (well, if we can - can we ride racing horses???)! ;) They sure are beautiful.
